The sellers, Beverly and Stan Johnson, guarantee this puppy to be healthy and free of serious, life threatening communicable disease at the time this Cairn Terrier leaves our home. If the puppy, within 72 hours after the buyer takes possesion is found by a licensed veterinarian to not be in good health, [ internal, external parisites, and kennel cough excluded] or to have any life threatening congenital defects, you must supply us with a written report of such, from your veterinarian within 7 days of diagnosis. The puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal value and same sex as soon as one is available. An exchange will be given upon receipt of the Cairn Terrier puppy [uninjured or harmed] and the report from a licensed veterinarian.
The puppy will be replaced within a reasonable period of time, if it developes a significant genetic related health problem within its first twelve [12] months with the new owner. Confirmation of the genetic related health problem must be provided in the form of a statement, including appropriate laboratory data and x-rays from a licensed veterinarian. The congenital problem must be due to genetics and not due to injury or mishandling of the puppy after it left our premises. In some cases, the breeder reserves the right to seek a second opinion concerning the puppy's health problem. The breeder is not responsible for any expenses incurred. Any shipping expenses for returning or sending the puppy would be at the buyer's expense.
